Your Mechanical Warranty Cover

Every Denson Camper Conversion is sold with a 3 month Mechanical Warranty, supplied by one of our preferred warranty providers. The details of your cover will be outlined in the policy document which is given to you during handover. You should read your policy so you know what is covered and how to use it should you need to make a claim in future.

How to Make a Warranty Claim
Warranty Providers may have slightly different processes for how you make a claim and variations in what is covered by your policy. However in general, these companies will not pay retrospectively for work carried out by a garage, nor will they pay for investigation and diagnosis of a fault. Typically the Warranty Providers will allow you to take the vehicle to a Garage of your choosing as long as the Garage is VAT Registered. If in any doubt, check with your Warranty Provider first.

Your Garage will need to contact the Warranty Provider to log the investigation and fault, provide photographic evidence if requested, part numbers for and costs for replacement parts, and an estimate of the time it will take to carry out the repair. They will need your policy details to do this – name, address, policy number.  

If the Warranty Provider agrees to cover the work under the Warranty, they will authorise the work with the Garage and advise the Garage on the payment process. Your Garage should advise you on this.

RAC Breakdown Cover
If you have been given a RAC Mechanical Warranty Policy, your 12 month breakdown cover needs to be activated by YOU.  In your handover pack will be a small leaflet about this with a code to enter your details – simply log onto the RAC website and follow the instructions for Personal Cover. Depending on how you intend to use your Camper, you may wish to upgrade the cover available to you.  To activate the cover visit: www.rac.co.uk/12free

Love Warranty – Breakdown Cover
If you have been given a Love Warranty Policy, your 12 month breakdown cover is automatically activated at the same date/time as your mechanical warranty was created. There is nothing extra you need to do – full details of how it works are in your pack.  If you experience a breakdown, call the Love Warranty Rescue and Recovery Team with full details of your Mechanical Warranty
