Our experience of working with Love Warranty is that the process is simple and quick. This is the main reason why we have chosen to partner with them; giving our garages and customers essential peace of mind when faults and problems occur.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Warranty Providers all have slightly different processes for how you make a claim and variations in what is covered by your policy. No warranty company, including Love Warranty will pay retrospectively for work carried out by a garage, nor will they pay for investigation and diagnosis of a fault. Your first step will be to take your vehicle to a suitable garage - it will typically need to be one that is VAT Registered and you will need to be sure it is one that is capable of working on vehicle's like yours . If in any doubt, you should check with your Warranty Provider first.
Your chosen Garage should contact and log the incident with the Warranty Provider on your behalf before they carry out any repair. The Warranty Provider may ask the Garage to provide fault codes, provide photographic evidence, part numbers and costs for replacement parts and labour. They will need your policy details to do this – name, address, policy number.
If the Warranty Provider agrees to cover the work under the Warranty, they will give the go ahead directly to the Garage and advise them how to bill for the work.
Extending your Mechanical Warranty

Love Warranty – Breakdown Cover
If you have been given a Love Warranty Policy, you receive complimentary breakdown cover with it. This is automatically activated at the same date/time as your mechanical warranty was created and extends the period of your Mechanical Warranty. Eg, if you have a 3 month Love Warranty, then you will receive 3 months of complimentary Breakdown Cover. Full details of how it works are in your collection pack.
